Education is critical in expanding and improving our industry. Our education program was designed and organized by our UAA Education Committee with the help of UAA staff.
The key to the success of our industry — and that of our businesses individually — lies in creating educated professionals who understand important issues and have essential skills.
Not only does education make for better management and better employees but it minimizes potential liabilities for owners and managers.
Our new subscription series program will allow owners to have access to nearly 50 important and industry relevant classes and seminars.
This is a year-long group of workshops and seminars that association members can subscribe to at a very reasonable cost.
Topics include:
• Fair housing
• Lead-based paint
• Mold and mildew remediation
• Evictions
• Leasing and concessions
• Credit reports and reporting
• Employee management
• Basic plumbing
• Electrical
• Sprinkler repair
Any property that wishes to participate in the full program may pay one flat fee tailored to the size of their property. This fee entitles the property to send as many of its employees to any or all of the specified educational programs offered at no additional charge.
1-75 Units = $99
76-150 Units = $149
151-300 Units = $249
301 + Units = $299
Please note: Association members who do not wish to take advantage of the subscription series fee can register for individual classes for the published class fee.
These courses are nationally recognized training programs that assist multi-family housing professionals in gaining industry skills and knowledge. The courses offered are the most current education tools available to the multi-family housing industry and were designed by the National Apartment Association.
These are free to all UAA members. At these meetings different topics of interest are presented and owners have the opportunity to ask questions, purchase forms, meet other professionals in the industry plus receive personal support and coaching. Click here for a meeting schedule.
These have been designed to bring professionals together in the industry
to dine, network, and gain upper knowledge on current
business topics.
