|Paul Smith, CAE
|Paul Smith started with the association in 2002. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Utah Valley University and is a Certified Association Executive, accredited by the American Society of Association Executives. In 2010 Mr. Smith received the Paragon Award from the National Apartment Association and is a current member and past president of the Utah Society of Association Executives. Mr. Smith is currently licensed by the Utah Division of Real Estate as a Sales Agent and Continuing Education Instructor and a current landlord himself here in Utah. His first exposure to the apartment industry was in 1996 as a leasing agent in the Salt Lake Valley. Mr. Smith enjoys the Utah outdoors skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.|
|Michelle Wood-Peck started with the association in 2015. She has extensive experience in office management, bookkeeping, and government organizations. Over the years she and her family have had considerable experience in the rental housing industry. Mrs. Wood-Peck enjoys gardening and raising her chickens.|
|Gavin J. Gilbert
Association Relations & Outreach
|Gavin Gilbert started with the association in 2014 after finishing a legislative Internship with lobbyist/law firm K.K.O.H. His young career has been focused on political science, customer relations, and general management. His first experience with association management was in 2012 and has continued that role with the UAA. Mr. Gilbert is currently working toward a degree in Political Science and Law. Gavin's passions include his Wife, children, family, Church, Basketball, and Golf.|
|Denyse Mose started with the association in 2018. Mrs. Mose has an extensive history in the multifamily housing industry and is very experienced within the rental industry. She has spent time as a manager for AMC and Cornerstone property management and is a seasoned pro and customer service. Her passions include her family, camping, music, animals, and friends.|
|Jennifer Spier started with the association in 2018. As an award-winning employee of Nicholas and Company Jennifer brings a lot of experience and ingenuity to the UAA staff. Mrs. Spier is the owner-operator of a catering company and food manufacturer; and has served on the board for the "Studio Lounge" for Sundance as a volunteer coordinator/booth organizer. Her expertise and award-winning customer service are sure to be noticed as you work with her. In her spare time Mrs. Spier loves to watercolor, sew, and scrapbook. Jennifer also loves to spend time with her children, granddaughter, her 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 8 grand-pups.
